Description of project:
The Thermia Palace was built in 1910-1912. In the presence of the president of Slowakia, Ivan Gasparovic, and his wife Silvia, the fully renovated Thermia Palace hotel in Piestany was opened on 27th April 2007. This extraordinary structure, with its unique Art Nouveau architecture, is situated in the south part of the island near the thermal springs and the curative mud springs.
The 111-room Thermia Palace hotel is the first five-star spa resort in Slovakia.
Task:
Sauter's EY3600 was selected as the building management system. Each of the rooms is fitted with a DDC intelligent unitary controller to ensure the highest level of comfort for guests. The building automation system is linked to the hotel reservation system and is integrated via BACnet into the overall system for the whole of the spa island.
