Description of project:
The stadium situated in Wankdorf, just north of Berne, is part of football history. It was here where Hungary played Germany in the1954 World Cup Final – a legendary match described as the "wonder of Berne".
In the summer of 2005 the third generation of this historic stadium was opened. This new generation of sports stadium is the largest in Switzerland and offers a wide spectrum of uses for a multifunctional visitor experience, from sporting and cultural activities to gastronomy, shopping and business events.
Task:
Sauter’s building management system provides climate control to cater not only for the footballing world.
A horizontal and vertical open system was installed using EY3600 novaPro Open with easy access via the Internet.
